Working Student: Communications Assistant
Are you excited about building a well-oiled communications machine with us? Great! We want to structure our internal and external communications in a way that allows us to work efficiently as the DVNE continues to grow.
Working hours: at least 15 hours per week
Location: preferably Berlin, hybrid
About us
The German Association for Negative Emissions (DVNE) is the largest national association for active CO₂ removal in the EU. As a coordinating platform, we are actively building Germany’s CDR industry. We bring companies together, convene relevant stakeholders, advise policymakers and create knowledge. Our goals are to strengthen climate action, create jobs and secure economic value.
Your responsibilities
As a working student, you will support us for at least 15 hours per week. You will help us analyse our communications and establish and manage processes. In particular:
- You analyse the performance of our communication channels and formats and present the results clearly in Excel.
- You support the maintenance of our communication channels.
- You organise our stakeholder activities in our Capsule CRM system.
- You expand our exchange with the communications teams of our members.
- You support us in establishing and maintaining processes that ensure our association members receive the best possible support and resources – for example, when onboarding new members.
What you bring
- A basic understanding of corporate communications
- Motivation to help advance our team and our topics
- Strong organisational skills
- Very good Excel skills, particularly in preparing, analysing and visualising data
- Experience working with Microsoft applications
- Experience with content management systems such as WordPress
- Experience with CRM systems, ideally Capsule and Brevo
- Very good German and English skills
